Post your local group training on the NWC Training Diary
The NWC Learning Hub’s Training Diary is an incredible opportunity to improve access to training opportunities across the state - particularly for groups limited by geography, resources, or regional funding constraints.
If your group is running a workshop, course, webinar, information session, or especially an online training, we welcome you to share it with the wider NWC network.
You can post in one of two ways:
Option 1 — Send Us the Details
Email your training information to vicechair@nwc.org.au and we will upload it to the Training Diary on your behalf.
Please include:
• Group name
• Training title
• Description (maximum 1,000 characters recommended). Include registration details, contact person, and who the training is open to or designed for
• Date and time
• Location (physical address or online link)
• Flyer or supporting image (optional)
The button below drafts the email input fields for you 👇🏾
Option 2 — Post Directly (Contributor Access)
Your group may nominate one representative to receive contributor access to the Learning Hub so they can post training events directly to the NSW Training Diary. This option is best for local groups or partners with recurring or frequent events that they would like to post with ease.
To request access, email vicechair@nwc.org.au with:
• Group name
• Full name of nominated contributor
• Email address
The button below drafts the email input fields for you 👇🏾
The Training Diary works best when information is accurate, clear and up to date. If details change, please notify us as soon as possible so listings can be updated.
Together, we can strengthen training access and capability across the wildlife rehabilitation sector in NSW.
About the NWC Learning Hub
The NWC Learning Hub is a central space for wildlife training opportunities and shared resources for the wildlife sector across NSW.
At present, the Learning Hub is hosted on Thinkific and the core feature of the Hub is the NSW Training Diary - a shared calendar where local groups and partners like IFAW, can post relevant training opportunities open to the NWC network. The intention for this feature is to offer access to quality and timely training to all wildlife groups in NSW - regardless of resources and geography.
The Hub will continue to grow over time as new content is developed, existing resources are expanded, and local group leadership engage by posting their training opportunities.
Note: Access is available to current sector members who belong to an NWC represented local wildlife group.
Understanding the Platform
The NWC website (hosted on Squarespace) and the Learning Hub (hosted on Thinkific) are two connected systems. The website is public information, sector information, resources, and an NWC communications space.
The Learning Hub is the learning platform designed to serve local groups and partners with an interactive diary (NWC Training Diary) to host links to in-person and online training opportunities open to the others in the NWC Network.
You may move back and forth from the website to the Learning Hub when accessing courses, events and resources. This is intentional adn designed to make the most of both systems.
Note: The resources and training opportunities on the NWC Learning Platform will grow with the sector, resources, and with the use/uptake of the platform.
